| Samus is just about
to head off to find a new bounty when she receives a distress call from the
space colony she'd just left. Upon arrival she finds that someone has killed
all of the scientists there. In a lone room she finds the last infant
Metroid she had taken there, but as she tries to leave Ridley appears and
steals the Metroid. The colony self-destructs and Samus re-enters her ship
to travel to Zebes, where Kraid, Ridley, Mother Brain the Infant Metroid,
and many other dangers await...
